So I made this icon some time ago...and apparently didn't save the website link where I made it. I know that I snagged it from some random friend's friend's page when I was massively wasting time on lj. But I have no idea whose friend, or when, and I've just spent another 30 minutes looking online for this avatar creation program, with no luck.
Anybody recognize the style enough to help me narrow down the link source?

I think that this falls solidly in the realm of "No shit". But at least there's data.

It would be nice if the next step was determining what the best way is, now that medical science knows this, to help people who have been subject to less than positive family responses (because the fact that this is fucking obvious to anyone who's ever gone through this clearly hasn't been enough). Perhaps some money could be shaken loose for some funding on support services....clearly, this data supports that there's a public health cost to intolerance and bigotry. Perhaps that's just me being overly optimistic, even if we've got evidence-based decision making coming back into vogue.

Well, I've finally become motivated to post to my lj. Of course, in part that's because I'm procrastinating massively on a behind-the-curve work issue I'm trying to deal with today, but still :)
Hello to anyone who may be reading...
I'll try to get myself sorted out and friend people and whatnot. Incidentally, I love the whole idea of animated icons, and I see lots that I like, but I have not the slightest clue on how to use them. I suppose there's a FAQ someplace, which may serve additional procrastinatory purposes in the future. |
